Hear from David Inglesfield about why he joined the Lib Dems: When did you join the Lib Dems? I joined the LibDems on the spur of the moment after the Brexit referendum. I thought Brexit was a really bad decision and I believe that politicians should provide leadership, not just do something which is popular but which they know to be bad for the country. What made you join the party? I've since discovered that the LibDems are a party very much driven by their values. I like that, because whilst I don't necessarily agree with every policy I do believe very strongly in the core values, which the LibDems describe as liberty, equality and community. Have you always been involved in politics? I've always been interested in politics but hadn't been active for years. I was a Conservative originally. I wasn't at all intending to become active again but it's actually been really good fun. I've discovered that I even enjoy delivering leaflets - it's good exercise and you get to know your local area a lot better! What
