Rodney Jackson
Rodney Jackson is standing for Hurstpierpoint & Bolney division on West Sussex County Council.
Rodney has lived in Hurstpierpoint for nearly 60 years and contributed to village life as a teacher, councillor and scout leader.
Now retired, Rodney was a Chemistry Teacher for 24 years and worked for HM Inspector of Health and Safety (Chemicals Division) for 18 years.
A long-serving member of Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common Parish Council, Rodney was elected to Mid Sussex District Council in 2019. Since then, he has been a strong voice on the District Planning Committee for scrutinising developments in our area.
Rodney spent 26 years as Scout Leader/Group Scout Leader of the 1st Hurstpierpoint Scout Group. He is now retired from the role, but is still an enthusiastic supporter of the Mid-Sussex Scouts.
Lyn Williams
Lyn Williams is standing for Hurstpierpoint ward on Mid Sussex District Council.
Lyn has lived in Hurstpierpoint for nearly 20 years, moving here from Burgess Hill which she represented on the District Council from 2003 to 2007.
She has over 20 years experience within local charities, serving as Chair of Hurstpierpoint Society for 15 years.
She has been one of the key local voices standing up for our village during the review of the Mid Sussex District Plan.
