Mid Sussex Lib Dems gather at East Court

Local food was the highlight of the day when Liberal Democrats from across the South East joined local Lib Dems at East Court on Saturday. The Annual Mid Sussex Conference hosted campaigners and activists for this highly successful one day event, held at East Court in East Grinstead.

Serena said "We have many excellent local food producers. They are also some of the small businesses that form the backbone of our economy and which create and sustain local jobs and wealth. Their food should be the first choice for local people on quality grounds. But in these difficult financial times, it is more important than ever to support small local businesses like these. It is small business that guarantees local jobs and keeps our money in the local economy."
