Lib Dems lead West Sussex election polling

New MRP polling shows the Liberal Democrats leading the race for the West Sussex County Council election on 7 May.

The poll, conducted by JL Partners and reported in the Telegraph, projects that the Liberal Democrats will win 30% of the vote in West Sussex. The result would represent a 10 point increase from the last election.

The Conservative vote share is projected to fall by 19 points to 28%, with Reform projected to finish third on 24%.

Labour and the Green Party look to be out of the race in West Sussex, with the vote share for both parties projected to fall to 7%.
