Freshfield Brickworks campaign

Pat Webster has strongly opposed the Tory County Council plan to use the brickworks site as a rubbish tip and supports the local Action Group in all they do.

Pat has expressed her disgust at the behaviour of the Tories at County Hall "They voted to keep the site in their Waste Plan though they know the roads are unsuitable for heavy rubbish lorries [the WSCC highways dept have recently replaced the signs along the road!]"

"Its just one more example of bad local government from the Tories on the County Council", said Pat Webster. "I believe in recycling all we can and composting everything else we can."

"It has been achieved elsewhere, a Greenpeace paper recently outlined an action plan for success at West Sussex - now we need the leadership for it to be achieved!
